United Nations World Tourism Organisation (UNWTO) Seminar on
"Spa & Wellness Industry Development in the Modern Environment"

On invitation of the UNWTO the Secretary-General of the ESPA Joachim Lieber presented the European spas Association on the 17th of March 2008 in Moscow during a seminar which took place in the tourism tradeshow "intourmarekt". As keynote speaker he gave further an overview about the current situation and the trends of the European Spas and Health Resorts.

As the main result of the well-visited seminar it was agreed that there will be a closer cooperation between the UNWTO and the ESPA in the future.
