Diverse quality requirements, spa philosophies and also wellness aspects are discussed by the Quality Commission. The multilingual glossary on the
European health resort and spa industry as well as the European Definitions of Terms (a joint European quality standard) undergo constant development.

Thalasso therapy concerns medical aspects of the use of the marine climate in connection with marine products. However, thalasso is frequently indispensable in the wellness sector and may offer new business prospects for hotels in coastal areas. The section examines ways in which elementsof thalasso can be used as well as environmental protection issues.

Radon Health Resorts Section
